Book Club

Simon, "What did you talk about at the book club meeting?"
Me, "Um, the book."
Simon chuckles and we get ready for bed.

Later: Laying in bed ready to sleep, I suddenly start expanding on my answer and tell him about some of the conversations.

Simon, "So it's a lot different than if I had a book club with a bunch of men. It'd be 'I liked the ending' and 'yeah, that was cool.'" [followed by silence]
